Historic Gigondas property that had fallen into disrepair but was bought and revived by the Brunier brothers (Vieux Télégraphe) and Kermit Lynch. From 65-year-old vines surrounding the winery, the wine has an extremely attractive nose of roses, raspberry, red cherry, plum, vanilla, clove, and licorice with a tannic, gloriously crunchy, mouthcoating palate. Concentrated and ageworthy. |
