Nose: The malt dominates initially, but with time some aromas of chocolate sno caps, sarsaparilla, and vanilla. With some water added the aroma brings forth mint, lemon curd, and salted butter. Palate: The whisky moves toward the center of the tongue which introduces a warm and bready mixed with baking spices which transitions into a warm honey comb. Finish: Finishes with a nip of cinnamon and a lingering, dry minerality before it livens up for a final time with another pert note of mint.
