| Description: | Critical Acclaim Vinous 91 - Light yellow-gold. Lemon zest, fresh fig, smoky minerals and white flowers on the highly perfumed nose. Brisk, tactile and focused, boasting excellent energy to its flavors of fresh citrus fruits, pear, pineapple and sweet butter. Finishes taut, fresh and long, with resonating mineral and floral notes. Wine Spectator 90 - Toasty and smoky notes frame pear, melon and blanched almond flavors in this white, with fresh acidity keeping the round texture focused. Shows good depth and structure. Wine Enthusiast 89 - Minerally, slightly dusty apple aromas lead into a well-balanced palate with body and zesty acidity. Peach, green melon and white-pepper flavors fade out on a pulpy finish with good acidic cut. Bright straw. A lively, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh citrus and orchid fruits, jasmine and dusty minerals, and a hint of anise builds in the glass. Incisive, mineral-driven Meyer lemon and a green apple flavors stretch out and deepen while maintaining vivacity. Closes minerally and very long, with a resonating subtle floral note. |
