{organic} 60% Roussanne, 40% Viognier from Chateau de Marjolet, Cotes-Du-Rhone Blan

Vintage: 2013
Description: Chateau de Marjolet, Cotes-Du-Rhone Blanc, Southern Rhone, France 2013 {organic} 60% Roussanne, 40% Viognier Crisp Peach, Mineral, White Blossomy Perfume, Ginger & Beeswax Located in Laudun (just across the Rhone River from Chateauneuf du Pape), Chateau de Marjolet's strikingly stony vineyards may remind the casual onlooker more of a lunar landscape than a cradle of viticultural excellence, but the rows of gnarled vines are an unmistakable sign that something exciting is happening here. This classical Rhone white is an elegantly perfumed tapestry woven with juicy stone fruit, ginger, and jasmine with unmistakably floral overtones. Truly great! Serving Suggestion: Baked monkfish w/ crispy broiled kale & long grain rice. Pork tenderloin stuffed w/ tangy dried apricots & seasoned w/ paprika.
