| Description: | "habemus Papam". The aromas of this CdP are clear indicators of the richness and power the wine presents. Blackberries, plums, sun-dried flowers, fennel, licorice and leather. Soft and enveloping on the mid-palate, the wine unravels into a peppery finish with big integrated tannins. The wine is drinkable now and would be a delightful pairing with dry-aged beef, but it should age for many years. Aged in both 3600-liter Stockinger foudre and 800-liter terracotta amphorae. |
