| Description: | 100% Chardonnay. "Lieu Dit Mont Aigu" means "the place called Mont Acute." This is a single vineyard, estate fruit in the Chouilly region. Beautiful gold color with tiny, beaded perlage. Champagne stone floral, honey, apple, citrus lemon-lime, pear, brioche, creamy vanilla, orange sherbet, marzipan, and dried fruit. Continuing to the palate, peach, orange peel, honeydew, ripe pineapple, creme brulee, burnt sugar. High acidity, sits between dry and off dry, delicate mousse, medium + flavor intensity. Very complex, layers of flavors with a long memorable finish. Perfectly matured. |
