Description: | Grapes: 100% Malbec. Vineyard Location: Our vineyards are located in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo. Harvest: 26th March – 15th April Deleafing and Green picking is performed in December. Hand harvested in small trays of 20 kg in order not to damage the grape. Yielding: 35hl/ha. Vinification: Double selection is performed: first selection of bunches and a second selection grape by grape. Maceration: Cold maceration at 10ºC – 12ºC during 5 days prior fermentation. Fermentation: At controlled temperature of 28ºC. Four pumping over per day and a long maceration period of 25 days. Ageing: 100% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels during 12 months. Oenologist : HervĂ© J. Fabre. Tasting Notes: Deep red color with violet shiny tones. A big and elegant Malbec with aromas of violets, black cherries and liquorice. On the palate the wine is deep and rich, perfectly balanced with delicate silky tannins and well integrated French oak. Perfect with a juicy steak, game, rich cheese and chocolate deserts.
