| Description: | *From our own 10.5 acre hillside Longhorn Ridge vineyard located right on the edge of Atlas Peak. This wine specifically is from the 8 acre Hoffman Block. *We have produced this wine from the vineyard since 2005. *The Clone 23 (Laurel Glen) grape is used to produce an English pea sized grape, approximately 1/2 the size of a typical Napa cab sauv grape. The brings our yield down to below 1.5 tons per acre but what a concentrated wine it makes! *Aged 26 months in Chateau Margaux French oak barrels then 36 months in the bottle. *Only a 92 & 91 score from Suckling and WEnthus just don't seem fair! * The deep, concentrated aromas are rich with sappy cassis and wild huckleberry notes and backed by integrated vanilla, cigar box and elegant and supple oak spices.
