| Description: | Dr. Konstantin Frank, Rkatsiteli, Finger Lakes, Ny 2013 100% Rkatsiteli Bold Aromatics, Sweet Spices, Floral & Tropical Rkatsiteli is one of the oldest vinifera grapes known. This wine comes from the Finger Lakes of New York and while it smells fruity, it's actually on the dry side of things. With crisp acidity and fresh flowers on the nose, the palate reveals the layers of fruit before finishing very crisply and round. Think tropical fruits like mango and guava. All stainless steel tank aging results in a wine with penetrating aromas and flavors ready to pair with bold spices. Serving Suggestion: A must with spicy curries with kaffir lime. The spices in the wine are perfect with intense dry spice rubbed chicken or fish. |
