Marques De Caceres Dry Rose Rioja - Gary's Wayne
Description: | Founded in 1970, Marqués de Cáceres was established by the Forner family of Château Camensac and Château Larose-Trintaudon, two of the most recognized properties in Bordeaux. This rosé, made from Tempranillo and a touch of Garnacha using the free-run "sangrado method" (less contact with the skins), is one of the traditional wines at Marqués de Cáceres with an extensive range of wine-pairings. Pretty, luminous pale coral pink color. Floral bouquet of small red berry fruits and a slight touch of aniseed. Luscious flavors on tasting with refreshing acidity and balanced structure. An elegant rosé with character and good length. Pair with jamón or fresh tomatoes with tuna. Firm Manchego cheese is a traditional match. |
