Located in Niigata, this lovely Junmai Ginjo from Abe Shuzo has notes of fresh cantaloupe and green melon with good acidity and is medium-bodied with good richness. There is a beautiful complexity to this sake that transcends what Junmai Ginjo should taste like. It is elegant and rustic at the same time. The finish is clean and swift. This is a sake that would pair well just as easily with grilled meat as it would with hamachi sashimi. |
