Description: | Domaine Danjou-Banessy is a 17-hectare estate located in French Catalonia, just north of Perpignan, near the confluence of the Spanish border and the Mediterranean. On the palate, the fruits, such as raspberry and cherry, are crunchy and fresh. There is also a very strong stony/mineral feeling. The finish is long and pure. With subtle, but very present tannins. Estaca is made from a planting of the oldest Grenache Noir vine, mostly grown on shale marls, in a place called Les Terres Noires in Espira de l'Agly. |
