| Description: | Meriame is one of the top MGAs from Serralunga and Paolo Manzone is definitely one of the best interpreters of this cru. Vanilla, face powder, blood orange and sweet violet are accompanied by a bit of sweetness on the nose. The palate is firm and relaxing, even a bit modern with a softer style – possibly from the tonneaux used here as well as large oak casks – but with extracted tannins; a bit gallic on the finish. I personally would expect a bit more from this wine in this vintage. One to revisit soon. |
