| Description: | After a very cold winter and spring with little rain, frosts in Casablanca affected the production. Nevertheless, the quality of the grapes at harvest time was satisfactory. Summer 2008 was moderately hot and brought in the harvest on the normal dates in the Colchagua valley and a little late for Casablanca and Leyda but with very well balanced ripeness.This vintage has a brilliant and clear colour with golden reflections. It has an explosive nose of melon, grapefruit and exotic fruit coupled with the typical Chardonnay note of hazelnut. In the mouth, it is rich, fresh and pleasantly fruity with good structure and a long finish. |
