| Description: | This elegant Barbera comes from the hills of Castiglione Falletto (in the Barolo region). There's still the powerful, rounded character to the fruit as is typical of this place, but the structure is finely matched, and the long 30-month oak aging adds to the suave richnenss and balsam & baking spice aromas. Aromatically, though, it's driven by floral and citrus-tinged cherries and woodland berries. Best served around 60F. |
