The 40 year old Chenin Blanc vines sit on shale and decomposed granite soil. Producing a rich, medium-bodied, dry wine with lots of honeysuckle, brulee and apricot characteristics. A hint of peach pits on the finish. Food Pairings: Fried foods, Chinese food, pork, spicy foods, scallops, langoustines, foie gras, goat cheeses, etc. |
