| Description: | While Côte du Py may be the most famous lieu-dit in Beaujolais, Jean-Marc Burgaud's example is quite affordable. Burgaud's house style is balanced between fruitiness and earthiness. Look for floral scents intermixed with raspberries, blackberries, and crushed stone. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, grippy tannins from stem inclusion. While you can enjoy this bottling now, it will show even better with a couple years of bottle age to really open up. |
