| Description: | 93 points Wine Enthusiast. From one of the few estates in Saint-Julien that is not a classified growth, this wine represents a bargain. The wine is rich, perfumed and beautifully structured. It has a velvety consistency with its ripe black currants and generous tannins. The estate is named after the mill belonging to Abbot Bridane in the Middle Ages. (RV) (9/2017) K&L Notes. What a great value find here. We did not know the estate existed until we tasted this wine late last year. We bought it immediately. Tons of current and cola on the nose and taste. Sweet, ripe, black cherry notes on the palate. Quite smooth and ripe tannins at the back. How did we miss this property for the last 35 years we have been travelling through St Julien?. |
