Pale salmon color. Complex nose with cherry and strawberry notes evolving towards soft candied fruit. The palate is rich and smooth with ripe red fruits.

I tasted two vintages of each wine, the youngest of the entry-level Garnacha being the 2018 Honoro Vera Garnacha, from vines around the village of Ateca.

A clearly riper and more open vintage, with a more Mediterranean character, with sweet fruit and aromatic herbs. It reminds me of some of my favorite old-time.
