The property was acquired by George Thienpont in 1946. He then replanted the vines towards the end of the 1970's. From 1983 onwards, his son Nicolas began making the wine and Chateau Puygueraud was…
Grand cru classe
A hint of lavender and orchard fruits as well as cedar and red clay minerality. Unfiltered and unfined.
Chateau Francs-Bories - St Emilion (750ml) available at Glen Rock Bottle King in Glen Rock, NJ
Bolder mouthfeel, slightly acidic, and boasting notes of dark fruit and blackberry. On the finish it boasts mild oak and vanilla, rounding it out nicely.
Organic & Biodynamic Stone, cassis, fresh herbs, and wild berries: all unobscured by the flavors of a new oak barrel. Arnault Cassini might best be described.
The wine is aged in neutral oak for about a year, then spends a few months in tank before bottling. Alcohol is 14%, and it begins with a no-doubt-about-it.
Clove and dried fruits on the nose. Blackcurrant with notes of cherry lead way to toasty smoky layers that last. Pair with roast lamb with garlic and rosemary.
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Classic and classy. Chateau Chapelle d Alienor is a proud new addition to our Bordeaux selection. This is simply fastball.

A bright and solid core of cherry and blueberry fruit layered nicely throughout the glass with a good ending of nutmeg, mocha and vanilla.
