Supple in texture, this red boasts cherry, black currant, graphite and earth notes. Starts out very elegant for the appellation, picking up firm tannins and more weight on the long finish.
This is an absolutely classical Gevrey: rich yet graceful, this wine shows the wild berry fruit and charming rusticity that are the hallmarks of true Gevrey-Chambertin.
