A wow wine. This is packed with cassis, loganberry and mulberry flavors that hint at the vintage's warmth, but this stays poised and fresh, with a sleek.
Soft wine, the Merlot in the blend giving a round character to the texture. It is juicy, fruity, a gentle, mellow wine that seduces by its delicious ripe.
The 2008 is a beauty in the style of the 1988. Although not performing as well as I predicted last year, it is unquestionably an outstanding effort as well.
