| Description: | 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot, aged for 16 months in 58% new American oak 8% 1 year-old and 35% 2-year-old barrels. Sometimes called the "baby Monte Bello," the Estate Cab is just that little more approachable when young. Floral and slightly herbaceous but also rich and fruity, with blackcurrant/cassis, blackberry, plum, and dill leading on to a palate with firm, gripping tannins, lifting acidity, and a long finish. Drink now-2030. |
