Description: Often used to soften Nebbiolo in the Piedmont, an old varietal that is commonly mistaken for Bonarda and this is used as a blending grape in Gattinara, a nice cherry berry fruit on the nose wth pretty floral notes. A good amount of cherry fruit on the tongue with smooth round fine tannins, a nice weight to the palate with a fresh finish laced with earth and floral nuance. Finish 40+ Excellent +.
