Viña Bonita is an 80 year old vineyard on the top of the hill of the property at 700 m. Its soil is a thin layer of compacted granite; cultivators frequently scratch the bedrock. The parcel covers 2.8 hectares, and its planting density is 2,200 vines per hectare. Vinification takes place in wooden tanks. Bernabeleva Viña Bonita has the longest maceration of all our wines. Malolactic fermentation takes place in 225 l French oak barriques, where the wine remains as long as necessary. |
