| Description: | Jasper Morris 94 Points - "Pure fresh yellow. The bouquet shows the voluptuous side of Charmes wearing a chiffon of oak. Some fresh lime notes provide the energy, while the body of clean white stone fruit is the main course. Too much body just to be called racy. I dont think this will take an enormous amount of time to come round, but all is there. Drink from 2026-2033.". Burghound 94 Points - "Pungent aromas of wood, reduction and a hint of phenolic character render the nose unreadable today. More interesting are the dense, powerful and almost painfully intense larger-scaled flavors that also soak the palate with sappy dry extract that does an excellent job of buffering the firm acid spine shaping the bone-dry, moderately austere and impressively long finale. This is extremely promising." |
