| Description: | 93 Jm / 91 Bh / 91 Wa. Fuees is a top Chambolle Musingy Vineyard - an extension of the same slope as Bonnes Mares, which it borders to the southwest. Pure mid purple with a heavenly fruit on the nose, and very little wood. Gains in suavity in the mouth, with both generosity and a fresh framework, light orange peel and some floral notes.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Tasting note: A more elegant and spicier nose is notably ripe yet agreeably fresh nose of dark raspberry, sandalwood and a whiff of exotic tea. The sleeker and more refined medium weight flavors possess excellent vibrancy and detail while terminating in a saline-inflected, palate coating and lingering finish. This is on the riper side for Fuées, but the balance holds in well. Outstanding. –Allen Meadows, Burghound. The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées has turned out well, offering up inviting aromas of plums, orange rind and raspberries, complemented by subtle hints of violets and spices.
