Description: | Tasting notes Appearance: Pale yellow with green lights, limpid, brilliant. Nose: The first nose is on quince, peony and then roasted almond. Palate: The attack is supple and fresh. Grape variety/varieties: Marsanne. The Crozes-Hermitage "Les Meysonniers" comes from vines which are between 20 and 40 years old. Harvest: Hand-harvested at maturity. Soil: Gentle slopes are facing full South. The soil and subsoil are made up of a blending of clays and shingles. Vinification: The entire grapes are pressed. The must is cold-settling for 24 hours. The temperatures of vinification are regulated. Fermentations take place in vats. Ageing: Ageing lasts for 7 to 8 months in tank. 100% of which takes place in stainless steel in order to preserve the aromatic quality, derived from the Crozes-Hermitage sedimentary soils, within the aromatic expression of Marsanne. Alcohol content: 13. |
