| Description: | Urraca's 2008 Malbec comes from their single estate vineyard which is 30 years old and located at the base of the Andes, where at 3000 feet above sea level, warm temperatures during the day and cool temperatures at night, result in long and dry growing seasons ideal for grapes. The wine is ripe and rich, but stylish, with a big core of black cherry and plum sauce woven with a hint of grilled mesquite. Black tea, licorice and toast frame the dense, but polished and well balanced finish. |
