The wines of Alain Voge are known for their grace and opulence while retaining great purity of fruit and structure. The Les Peyrouses displays crimson and purple reflections with aromas of violets and pomegranate. On the palate the tannins are firm and gripping with balanced alcohol/ acid. Black raspberries, oak, and red plum skin on the finish. Food pairings: Barbecue ribs, charcuterie, cheeses (mild and strong), chicken marsala, eggplant, pizza, hamburgers, oxtail, onion soup, grilled vegetables, root vegetables, etc. |
