| Description: | The story begins in 1467, the then owner, Andrea Damiano, conceded to the Porrini brothers permission to work his lands fo Cassina Careta for nine years. In 1811, after 350 years, the property passed from the Marquis Damiano to the Count of Roero, who cultivated in for 120 years. In 1932, he gave the estate to the Veglia family of Turin. In 1985, the property finally passed to the Miroglio family from Alba. The property is still owned by the Miroglio family, Edoardo and his wife Ivana. Tenuta Carretta is in Piobesi d'Alba, Roero on the left bank of the Tanaro river and is made up of 70 hectares of vineyards. |
