The finish is bright and fresh, with enough acidity to cut through the richness.\r\n\r\n218 cases\r\n\r\n\r\nProduction Notes\r\nThe fruit was harvested on September 2nd and 6th at an average of 23.1\u00b0 Brix, then whole-cluster pressed to tank and settled for 24 hours. Fermentation occurred in 40% new 500-liter French oak puncheons, and the wine was aged sur lie for 18 months.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout Fel Winery\r\nFEL Wines produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris from the Anderson Valley. The Fel Wines label, featuring an illustration of an opening tulip, is a tribute to Florence\u2019s passion for gardening.\r\nVineyard Notes\r\nOur estate, Savoy Vineyard, long-recognized as a benchmark vineyard in Anderson Valley, is located in the \u201cDeep End\u201d of the valley, west of the town of Philo. The maritime influence and moderate daytime temperatures contribute to the wine\u2019s balance, acidity and elegant flavor profile. This wine is made of a blend of Wente and Prosser clonal selections. |
