| Description: | We have searched far and wide for a Chardonnay from Northern Italy that really knocks our socks off. After about a year of searching, we have found Hartmann Donà and his pure expression of Alpine Chardonnay. It tastes pretty much how you would visualize the grape grown in limestone-clay soils in the high altitude and cool climate of Südtirol-Alto-Adige. It's lightly floral, mineral driven with steely apple, pear and granite flavors. |
