| Description: | Maison Roche de Bellene was founded in 2008 by Nicolas Potel after he parted company with his previous partners who own the right to the 'Nicolas Potel' label. In recent years the wines of Hautes Cotes de Nuits have fared well with the warmer overall vintages of Burgundy, maintaining acidity at the higher altitudes. This has a lovely weight of nectarine-scented fruit supported by lovely ripe citrus character with hints of orange and lemon. A saline note keeps freshness on the palate with lovely length and a crisp finish. |
