The superb nose jumps from the glass in a blend of apple, pear, hazelnut, lime blossoms, white soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with crisp acids, a lovely sense of reserve and outstanding length and grip on the beautifully focused finish. I love top-notch Genevrires, and this is certainly one of the very best examples I tasted from this vintage. 2016-2035. 93." |
