| Description: | Father's Watch is a Rhone style blend made from 32% Carignane, 27% Grenache, 22% Syrah, and 19% Mourvedre. A third of the wine is left whole-cluster before spending 27 months in neutral oak. Kivelstadt is always making wines that stand apart and this wine is no different. Tomato leaf, fig, plum, and slightly smoked cherries. An underlying minerality and underbrush sneak into the mix while keeping the wine delicate and restrained. |
