| Description: | This is a freshly-fruited, mid-bodied red that finishes dry and clean. It comes from a few small vineyards with an average age of 40 years, in silty limestone soils. This is believed to give a particularly vibrant and perfumed Dolcetto, and the winemakers have created a very drinkable style with a relatively light maceration of skins in juice; these qualities are complemented by only briefly aging in stainless steel and concrete, which preserves the purity and focus of the wine. |
