| Description: | Practicing Organic. We love classically styled wines, and we love great valuesthis Borgogno is Both! The winery also happens to be situated in one of the most important crus in all of Barolo: Cannubi. 100% Nebbiolo from sand and limestone soils. Maceration takes place for 30-40 days in large oak casks, with frequent use of remontage. Following malolactic fermentation the wine is aged for 30 months in oak casks. After bottling, the wine is allowed a further 6 months ageing in horizontal racks. |
