| Description: | The vineyard site Karneid is a high-altitude plot at 650 meters in Alto Adige providing long hang time and developed acidity. Tasting this wine is like tasting the place itself with a rocky minerality, wet-stones, thyme, herbs, and wild lemon grass. After two passes at harvest, the wine is vinified bone-dry with 5 months of lees aging. Some of its parent grape, Riesling, brings peach and dried white flowers with a white pepper crispness. |
