Denner Theresa

Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Picpoul, Marsanne from Paso Robles

Vintage: 2012
Description: From the Critics: "a superb Rhone-like blend that's primarily Roussanne, the 2012 Theresa gives up plenty of poached pear, mineral, lemon rind and spice to go with gorgeous purity and freshness on the palate. Building in richness with air, it's a classy, medium-bodied effort that will be versatile on the dinner table and have 4-5 years or so of longevity (although it wouldn't last that long at my house). Drink now-2017. This was a beautiful lineup of wines by winemaker Anthony Yount and I continue to be impressed with the wines of this estate. Located on the western edge of Paso Robles, the wines possess individual, unique characters that show not only Paso fruit, but balance and restraint. They're highly recommended." - 92 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "White flowers, pears, apples, lemon peel, jasmine and mint are all supported by vibrant layers of saline-infused minerality in the 2012 Theresa, Denner's white Rhone blend. This is another brilliant, crystalline wine endowed with terrific energy and verve. The blend is 50% Roussanne, 25% Grenache Blanc, 20% Picpoul and 5% Marsanne aged predominantly in steel, concrete and neutral oak, with just a dollop (10%) of new wood." - 92 Pts Antonio Galloni - Vinous
