A lot of baking spices bouncing around in the glass from 16 months in barriques, softening the red fruited acidity of cranberry and red cherry. Classic rose petals, orange zest, herbs, and cedar box. The wine is drinking well now, but it is for all intents and purposes still Barolo and will be better after 5 years. |
