| Description: | A cool winter with average rainfall across the Limestone Coast region encouraged the growth of healthy canopies. An ideal summer of sunshine and dry weather provided the vines with good conditions in which the grapes could ripen. Deep crimson in color. The aroma opens with rich, satsuma plums and violets, balanced by savory Mediterranean herbs. The palate is sweet fruited and full with distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon tannins. The Y Series Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold and friendly wine that shows why Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's best known and enjoyed varieties. A lovely match for spaghetti and meatballs or mushroom and spinach lasagna. |
