The palate is light and easy-drinking, with ample acidity and flavors of baked pear and melon rind that lend subtle spice and a pithy bitterness through the medium-length close. 87 pts Wine Advocate March 2020 The 2018 Chardonnay is quite pleasing on the nose with a classic expression of apple, lemons, pineapple and pear and soft aromas of caramel and citrus blossom. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and straightforward, with hints of sweet corn kernel and a soft mid-palate. The wine ends with a lingering finish. It is a sure bet for the price tag. |
