Though the 2008 vintage was challenging, the wines came through with great balance and tremendous aromatics. This wine smells and tastes like Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with big, rich color, earthy, spicy notes and a big mouthful of Bing cherries, tangerine zest and tea leaves followed by a refined but persistent tannin backbone and fresh, lively acidity." -winemaker |
