Urraca Family Wines ‘Reserva' Mendoza, Argentina Cabernet Sauvignon

Urraca Family Wines ‘Reserva' Mendoza, Argentina Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage: 2009
Description: Making premium wines. That was the long-held desire of John Langley and his children — Morgan, Zak and Sara. They spared no expense in identifying the ideal location for their vinous venture. They traveled the world, visiting the main wine regions and taking note of their unique characteristics. Finally, they found their dream location in the Agrelo area of Argentina's Mendoza region. As for the winery's name, Urraca translates to Magpie — significant from a family standpoint because Magpie is the nickname given by John Langley to his wife, Margaret. With a location and a name, Urraca Family Wines was ready to make a splash on the global wine scene. The family's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious embodiment of the Langleys' vision. Rich and full-bodied, it exhibits an array of enticing aromas and flavors, from licorice to blackberry, from toasted oak to black cherry, and from cassis to roasted chestnuts. It's a real dream come true.
