| Description: | The Earth, Zin and Fire offers a fully spicy nose with distinct brambly dark red/black fruits tones. On the palate the wine has a soft fruit forward medium body that is rich, ripe and rounded. It provides a velvety soft attack giving way to a firmer spicy finish. Hints of dark cherry and peppery elements are at the forefront while a more baking spice tones come out at the end. The wine is overall generous with its mouth-coating fruit which leads to a clean somewhat abated finish which provides just enough support and framework to keep it from being cloyingly lush. This wine pairs best with somewhat fuller styled foods, such as grilled hamburgers with BBQ sauce, bacon and mushrooms or roasted pork chops with dried cranberry cornbread stuffing. |
