| Description: | The Callet grape produced by 4 Kilos is native to the island of Mallorca, but it is rarely exported, which is a shame because we find it to be quite complex for a lightweight casual drinker. Aged in clay amphora to produce a medium to light bodied wine with red-fruited flavors. Mediterranean herbs that would be right at home in vermouth make an appearance along with smoky black cherries and Medjool dates. Though the wine is light in body it has an energetic acidity on the finish with subtle leather notes. |
