The cru of Gorges was among the first crus of the Sèvre-et-Maine appellation to be recognized in 2011. The blueish-green, igneous rock of the region lends unique pencil shavings characteristics with dried apricots, light nuttiness, jackfruit, and leesy yeast notes. A 2015 that has many characteristics of Chablis with amazing acidity and structure for aging. |
