Description:	This wine exhibits lively aromas of vine-ripened blackberries and Kirsch liqueur. On the palate, the wine's exuberant fruit is balanced with centered acidity. Luscious tannins lead to a long finish. 92 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (May 2011): “Ripeness in and of itself is no sin, and, when it is met by this kind of richness and wonderfully deep fruit, it is hard to see any liability in it at all. It builds and builds on its initial sensations of blackberries, violets, sweet oak and ever so slightly briary spice, and closes with a wonderfully sustained finish.". Just 381 cases made. This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
