Vintage: 1952
Winery: Siete Leguas
Description: This item is for pick up only. Siete Leguas was founded in 1952 by Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. The name comes from Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa's beloved, tireless horse and the distance--seven leagues--it could travel in a day. Siete Leguas is the distillery that produced the first 12,000 bottles of Patron tequila in 1989. Aged for five years, Siete Leguas De Antaño Extra Añejo is a beautiful golden amber color. On the nose, you are greeted by aromas of cooked agave, honeyed citrus and minty apple. The palate and harmonious finish both deliver warm notes of toasted vanilla, cinnamon, cherry, raisins, charred oak and butterscotch.
